Collective Décor is an independent art group based in Canada, active since 2013 in the fields of theatre, film, and performance art. The group is composed of artists who draw inspiration from their lived experiences to create works that reflect themes of identity, migration, exile, and resistance.
Over the past years, Collective Décor’s projects have been presented in various cities across Canada and developed in collaboration with numerous cultural and social organizations. One of the group’s most notable achievements has been organizing a cross-country theatre tour over the past three years.
The collective’s artistic vision is grounded in the belief that art can be a space for dialogue, awareness, and transformation—bringing marginalized voices to the stage and crossing cultural and linguistic boundaries.
